Somato Emotional Release is a therapeutic procedure
that uses the technique of CranioSacral Therapy to free the body
and mind of the discomforting side effects of trauma and injury.
The therapy focuses on establishing a strong body-mind connection
in order for the release of emotional trauma and the resolution
of physical symptoms. Tissue memory is one of the important concepts
of Somato Emotional Release. When a particular muscle group is injured,
a memory of that experience is formed in the affected tissue. Often,
a small, unconscious contraction that is related to our traumatic
experience, has formed in the muscle, somewhat as a reminder of
the painful experience. If not released, they can spread strains
to other parts of the body. Often causing chronic pain of which
the cause appears unknown when presented to our physician for diagnosis
and treatment.
Somato Emotional Release is often a natural outcome
of a CranioSacral Therapy session while releasing trapped energy
cysts or tissue memory. It can also be a stand alone therapy session
where problems associated with injuries, physical trauma, car accidents,
challenging life experiences and surgery can be efficiently and
permanently addressed. It is a highly effective approach for PTSD,
Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as well as many other
dysfunctions of the body. |
